Applicants for Admission:
Q. Where do I send my materials - Graduate Studies or Graduate Group in Ecology?
A. All materials to be used in the evaluation of your application should be sent directly to the Graduate Group
in Ecology.
Q. To whom should I make out the check for the application fee?
A. You may pay the fee electronically or with a credit card. If
paying by paper check, please make it payable to UC Regents.
Q. How many sets of transcripts are required?
A. Only one official copy of all transcripts are required.
Q. May I apply to more than one Area of Emphasis?
A. No, there is no advantage to doing so. Switching AOE's, once accepted into the GGE is not difficult.
Q. Do I need to have a confirmed Major Professor in order to apply?
A. No, but it is to your advantage to be proactive about this process. It would greatly benefit
your application to have one in place.
