- I am an ecosystem ecologist specializing in biogeochemical cycling of carbon and water in terrestrial ecosystems. Our lab uses stable isotope ratio and meteorological techniques to measure, and models to integrate information regarding variations of water and carbon transfer from leaf to regional scales.
- My current research projects center on an atmospheric isotope network that presents a continuous, long-term record of isotope changes relating to CO2 and water exchange on land. These isotope measurements provide an excellent opportunity to study ecosystem response to climate change as the data stream grows in time.
