Research Abstract

  • Our laboratory studies the ecological ecology of trophic interactions and biological invasions. We also have projects in biological control and soil ecology. On the invasions front, we are concentrating upon the invasion of Pacific estuaries by Atlantic cordgrasses, Spartina species, which have hybridized and evolved rapidly in their new homes. These studies are mostly in San Francisco Bay, California and Willapa Bay, Wa. On the trophic front we are focused upon entomopathogenic nematodes that
