Research Interests

  • I primarily work with the biometeorology group investigating how the atmosphere and biosphere interact. I have been very fortunate the have opportunities to collaborate with many of the awesome researchers at UC Davis, including Angee Doerr on the Bahamian lobster fishery, Matt Savoca on trace element cycling in pelagic birds, and Jen Balachowski on fog water use in Elymus glaucus. Currently I am looking at how occult precipitation (i.e. fogs and dews) can be quantified as a hydrological flux, and identifying the sources and destinations of these waters using the stable isotopes of hydrogen and oxygen.
