Ph.D. Maryland 1986
- My research program focuses on the ecology, behavior, life histories and conservation of marine invertebrates, fishes and plankton in the coastal ecosystem. We study the entire life cycle by blending ecology with oceanography to provide novel insights into processes regulating marine populations and communities and adaptation across species ranges in an era of climate change and other anthropogenic impacts. We aim to translate these insights into improved conservation and management practices. See http://www.bml.ucdavis.edu/facresearch/morgan.html for more information.
